Explosionproof / Flameproof Cast Stainless Steel Enclosures

The new cast stainless steel explosionproof enclosures are designed for use in highly corrosive areas such as offshore, petrochem, or volatile industrial areas. These enclosures provide additional corrosion protection compared to traditional cast aluminum enclosures. The XCESX series is rated for Class I, Division 1 / Zone 1 hazardous locations and carries UL, cUL, ATEX, and IECEx approvals for global applications. With five standard sizes available, features include a watertight gasket, stainless steel cover bolts for Type 4X / IP66 ratings, stainless steel hinge kit, mounting panel, removable lifting eye bolts, cover alignment device, cast-on mounting lugs, and internal / external ground screws. The enclosures also have a flat plate cover for additional working area for viewing windows and operating devices like pushbuttons, selector switches, and pilot lights.
